im so glad im not the only one who secretly rereads kylux 😭 like, fics from before hux even had an official first name my belovèd. kylo is only tolerable as a character if he’s queer. their dynamic is so damaged, they’re both awful people, and i love it 😭😭

@tricaurelie and I are quite excited to share with you our French podcast on Fanfiction. We had the most awesome guest: talented French fanfic writer @luciefee, who gave us the best insight!  That was so much fun and our first ever venture into featuring fanart! It is immensely satisfying for us to be able to showcase for the French speaking public so many wonderful writers and artists. “Dare the Fanfic” is the title of this episode.

 We wanted to explain what fanfiction is (a lot of people have NO idea, trust me), the different ships in the fandom (so, yes, we talked respectfully about ALL the ships, FinnRey, FinnRose, Kylux, Poe and his many many many possibilities...), and lots lots lots of references to fluff, smut, porn, angst and yes, those pesky A/B/O... (thanks to the godmother of all ABO, our delightful @raven-maiden, all hail the queen).

yr space baby 2017 wrap-up

Hey y’all! I know I’ve been quiet around here lately, and it’s been for a few reasons of the self-preservation variety. I’m happy to report that if everything goes well in the next few weeks, I’ll be back on tumblr more regularly in the New Year, with lots of new content (fic, shitposting, and otherwise).

2017 was a rough year for me (like it was for a lot of people, no joke). I struggled a lot with my depression, but eventually found a shiny new toolbox to help me deal, and have been making slow and steady recovery. One of the major victims of this year was my productivity, both fannish and in real life: I’m only two weeks out from my PhD dissertation deadline right now, and I’m still writing; I only wrote two-three stories this year; I had to drop out of multiple fests and big bangs that I was so unbelievably excited for, simply because I couldn’t find the energy or positivity or structure to sit down and write. 

That being said, I am so grateful for my friends and family in kylux, on tumblr, twitter, and in NYC. You guys have been unbelievably creative, inspiring, and hilarious during the near-year that the Cantina was active, and I’m so happy to say that we’ll be back again in the new year with a whole new set of post-TLJ inspired themes!

It's Halloween, and Mercy is four. He's had months to decide what he wanted to be, but had refused to choose. Now, he distinctly recalls that, at the time, he found almost all of the costumes that his parents had shown him to be too scary or too dumb. He'd sulked and refused, and it had come down to the day of.

Hux would be there at every appointment, every moment with Kylo. Maybe that’s how Hux lost his parent(s) so it already hits home when his boyfriend is diagnosed and has to go through rough, harsh treatments.
